The sources close to the film unit reveal that Nani has suffered a minor injury on sets. While filming a particular shot, his nose was injured. The injury is minor and he will come back to the sets without any break.
Recently during the media interaction, the makers of Jersey opened up about the movie and said, “The basic plot of Jersey revolves around the concept of late bloomers. Some people pursue their dreams only after a certain age and they still achieve the success. They are known as late bloomers. We have plenty success stories with regards to it in different fields. But, in the case of the sports field, the late bloomer concept is somewhat difficult to apply, because the sports demands physical fitness. After a certain age, to compete in sports is very tough task. Likewise, Jersey is the story of a man who is settled in life with his wife and kid but aspires to be an Indian cricketer.”
U Turn fame Shraddha Srinath is playing the female lead in Jersey, which is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
