When Nikhil Siddhartha saw the newspapers announcing that this film is releasing on 25th January 2019, he was shocked. The actor took to Twitter to clarify that someone is trying to intentionally mislead the audience. He made a series of tweet,”Thanks to my Twitter buddies for getting this to my notice… Including the Cast.. Technicians nd my name in the Movie Bookings is absolute Cheating… NO OUR MOVIE IS NOT RELEASING THIS WEEK… We will sort this.
The producers have written to the MOVIE BOOKING APPS to get OUR NAMES REMOVED from the said movie… thanks for the concern bro @bookmyshow @Paytm.
Guys My Movie is NOT RELEASING this week… SOME ppl with evil intentions have used the exact SAME LOGO DESIGN nd put MY NAME in the BOOKINGS APP… My Producers are on the case and will UPDATE u soon with the details.. This is disgraceful #Mudra.”
Mudra is being directed by TN Santosh. Nikhil Siddhartha is playing the role of a journalist in the movie which is based on journalism backdrop and focuses more on the current issues and how media plays an important role in addressing them.
Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame is rendering the tune while Suryaa is handling the cinematography. Kaviya Venugopal and Raju Kumar are jointly producing the movie Mudra under Auraa Cinemas PVT and Movie Dynamix LLP banners whereas B Madhu is presenting it. Mudra is expected to hit the screens later this year. This will be the first time that Nikhil Siddhartha will be playing a journo in his career.
Apart from Mudra, Nikhil Siddhartha is also the part of upcoming movie Swasa, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on the auspicious occasion of Dassara.
