Rajinikanth to become police Officer

It is known news that Rajinikanth who is enjoying the success of his recent offering Petta, has joined hands with AR Murugadoss for an upcoming film. Rajinikanth enjoys a strong fan following because of his good looks, dashing personality and the epic on-screen mannerisms. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Rajinikanth will be seen playing cop in this upcoming drama. First, it was said that the upcoming film will be a fantasy venture, and later, it was rumoured that it  a political thriller and is titled Narkali. It was also said that Rajinikanth is playing Chief Minister in the movie. However, Sarkar director AR Murugadoss smashed all the rumours and said that the film would be an out-and-out entertainer. Now according to the latest buzz, Rajinikanth will be seen in Khakhi Uniform.

Rajinikanth and AR Murugadoss starrer will go on the floors in the month of February.

Earlier Rajinikanth has acted as a police officer in few movies like  Moondru Mugam, Pandian, and Kodi Parakuthu. And all the movies have turned out to be blockbusters. Other details about the cast and crew will be out very soon.

Apparently, Rajinikanth rejected the first 2 scripts written by AR Murugadoss and asked him to come back with new and fresh script. Post two rejections, the Sarkar and Spyder fame director came up with a final script that Rajinikanth finally okayed.

 It has also come out that Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh will be seen sharing the screen space with Rajinikanth. She was last seen in Vijay starrer political thriller drama  Sarkar, which was also helmed by Murugadoss.

 On the other side, Rajinikanth was last seen in Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj in which Simran, M. Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, J. Mahendran and Trisha Krishna played the crucial roles. The film is  produced by Kalanithi Maran under his production studio Sun Pictures.
