Majili is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Shiva Nirvana, who has also penned the story and dialogues. The romantic entertainer Majili brings back Naga Chaitanya and Samantha together for the fourth time, and also the first time since their wedding.
Few days ago, the makers released the second look poster that featured the lead actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya with Divyansha Kaushik. Interestingly, Naga Chaitanya was seen as a cricketer celebrating a victory and Divyansha Kaushik was hugging him. The second poster also revealed the release date of the film i.e 5th April 2019.
Both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have worked together for Maaya Chesave, Manam and Autonagar Surya earlier. Majili comes with the caption ‘There Is Love… There Is Pain’ and implies it’s a romantic entertainer set against the backdrop of Vizag. Apart from the lead pair, Majili has other stars Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali and Subba Raju in supporting roles. The film has the music by Gopi Sundar whereas Vishnu Sarma is handling the cinematography.
Majili is being bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens banner. Apart from Majili, Samantha will also be seen in upcoming movie O Baby in the direction of Nandini Reddy, in which Naga Shaurya is playing the crucial role.
On the other-side, Naga Chaitanya was last seen in action entertainer Savyasachi, which was bombed at the box office.
