Katrina Kaif made her acting debut with Bollywood movie Boom in 2003. Later the actress entered in Tollywood and made her Telugu debut with Malliswari, which hit the screens on 18th February 2004. The film was produced by D.Suresh Babu on Suresh Productions banner, directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar, in which Katrina Kaif played the love interest of Venkatesh Daggubati .
Katrina Kaif has also shared the screen space with Nandamuri Balakrishna in his 2005 film Allari Pidugu, directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee. If everything will go accordingly, Mahesh Babu starrer will be her third film in Telugu film Industry.
Earlier Mahesh Babu and Sukumar have worked together for a movie 1: Nenokkadine. The sources say that Sukumar has a few names in his mind but Katrina Kaif is the first choice for the female lead in his upcoming movie. He is currently busy with the scripting process. Very soon Sukumar will narrate the story to Katrina Kaif.
On several occasions, Katrina Kaif has revealed that she is fan of Mahesh Babu and she has watched his all movies. If Sukumar approaches her with an offer, she might accept it.
Sukumar’s previous offering Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni was blockbuster at the box office and currently he is busy in the script work. On the other-side, Katrina Kaif is waiting for the release of Bharat in which Salman Khan is playing the lead role. After wrapping up the shoot of Vamsi Paidipally’s Maharshi, Mahesh Babu will join the sets of Sukumar’s film.
