Majili is directed by Shiva Niravan and is bankrolled by Sahu Garapati, Harish Peddi under the banner Of Shine Screens. Apart from Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni, Majili has other stars like Divyansha Kaushik as second female lead. Gopi Sundar is the music composer of Majili, which is arriving at the theaters on 5th April 2019.
Recently during the media interaction, Shiva Nirvana has revealed the characters Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni. The Akkineni hero will be seen as Poorna, an intense and versatile character, a middle class husband. Naga Chaitanya will appear as a young and middle aged man in Majili. About Samantha, Shiva Nirvana said, she is playing Sravani and she makes you laugh, leaves you in tears, shocks you with her unparalleled performance.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha had shared the screen space in 3 movies – Maaya Chesave, Manam and Autonagar Surya – earlier and Majili will be Akkineni Couple’s 4th outing together. Incidentally, it will be their 1st movie post wedding.
Samantha was last seen in U Turn which went on to earn her positive reviews and she will be next seen in O Baby whereas Naga Chaitanya is busy in shoot of Venky Mama.
