Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is currently busy in the shoot of his upcoming movie Disco Raja, which is being helmed by Vi Anand. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaurathi, the makers revealed a new poster from the film that featured Ravi Teja in a unique retro avatar. Now according to the latest update, the film unit of sci-fi action entertainer Disco Raja has wrapped up an action packed schedule in the picturesque Nordic island country, Iceland.
VI Anand is thrilled with the breathtaking stunts that were captured during the schedule in Langjokull, the second largest icecap in Iceland. The makers shot key action sequences in the island country. Recalling the experience of shooting in sub-freezing temperatures, Vi Anand describes it as ‘challenging’.
During the media interaction, Vi Anand spoke about Ravi Teja starrer Disco Raja, “The temperature was around minus eight and we were almost frozen there. To shoot the action packed episodes on Ravi Teja at the glacier Langjökull, the second largest ice cap in Iceland, was challenging and difficult.”
Vi Anand added, “The shooting on the glacier is a risky proposition but the story of Disco Raja needed such a landscape and we wanted to provide a thrilling visual experience to our audience.”
With this Ravi Teja’ Disco Raja’ talkie part is almost over. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja will be seen in dual roles in this upcoming much awaited movie. The film Disco Raja has three actresses- Tanya Hope, Payal Rajput and Nabha Natesh.
Ram Talluri is producing this high budget entertainer Disco Raja, which is slated to hit the screens on 20th December.
It may be noted here that the producer of Disco Raja wanted to bring down the cost of production from Rs 40 cr to Rs 30 cr following which some changes in the script were made. This did not go well with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja due which the shoot of the film had to be put on hold. But with the producer Ram Talluri clarifying that all is well with Disco Raja, the fans can wait patiently for its release.
