Telugu actress Archana Shastry, who has been maintaining a low profile in films, got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Jagadeesh in a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad on 3rd October. Their engagement ceremony took place at a plush hotel which was attended by Archana and Jagadeesh’s family members and close friends. Archana’s close friends from the film industry including Siva Balaji and his wife Madhumitha, Sumanth, Navadeep among others were also present at the engagement ceremony. Now the wedding date of Archana and Jagadeesh has been locked. According to the latest update, Archana and Jagadeesh will tie the knot on 13th November.
Their wedding will take place in City Hyderabad and it is expected that a number of celebrities from the film industry will grace the wedding event.
Archana Shastry’s fiance Jagadish is a businessman and he holds a top position in a healthcare company. It is said that the love birds Archana and Jagadish were dating each other for several years before getting engaged.
On the occasion of engagement, Archana wore a gold and pink saree with intricate embroidery work in her blouse, whereas Jagadish chose gold and off-white sherwani. Their pics from the engagement function went viral on social media.
Archana Shastry came in limelight with her performance in Siddharth and Trisha starrer Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. Her popular movies are Young Tiger Jr NTR starrer Yamadonga, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Khaleja, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer Balupu and Kannada film Aa Dinagalu.
Archana also took part in the first edition of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss Telugu, which was hosted by Young Tiger Jr NTR. During her stay in Bigg Boss house, the actress spoke about her boyfriend, however, she didn’t take his name on the show. The actress had been away from the films for a very long time.
