According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui may soon make his Telugu debut alongside Venkatesh in a yet-untitled project, which will be helmed by Pelli Choopulu fame Tharun Bhascker and produced by Suresh Babu. We have already reported that Venkatesh is set to collaborate with young filmmaker Tharun Bhascker. While a script was locked on long ago, but now the sources revealed that the team is now reworking on the script. Apparently it was the producer Suresh Babu who suggested this after Nawazuddin Siddiqui was roped in for a key role in the project that has Venkatesh in the lead role.
Venkatesh scored a Sankranthi blockbuster hit with F2 – Fun, and Frustration, directed by Anil Ravipudi, now Suresh Babu is also planning to deliver a good movie. As Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a good performer, Suresh Babu doesn’t want Venkatesh to be shadowed in any way and he wants to ensure that the script gives Venkatesh Daggubati high scope to perform. Is Suresh Babu not confident in Venkatesh’s performance? He is underestimating a talent powerhouse like Venkatesh.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui made his Tamil debut with Rajinikanth starrer Petta. Now he is all set to make his Telugu debut in a film which will star Venkatesh. According to inside sources, the upcoming film will be set against the backdrop of a horse racing club in Hyderabad. It is believed to be an action-comedy and will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions.
According to the makers, Venkatesh starrer will be a story of a jockey who goes on to become a horse-racing-gambler. It’ll have good scope for action and comedy. If everything goes accordingly, the film will go on the floors from November or December this year. On the other side, Venkatesh is currently busy wrapping up upcoming multistarrer Venky Mama which also has Naga Chaitanya.
