Pesa koodathu song is from the movie Adutha Varisu, directed by SP Muthuraman, starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Sridevi, Silk Smitha. The movie was released in 1983 and it was remake of Bollywood movie Raja Jani. In this film Silk Smitha essayed the role of Usha.
Silk Smitha’ original name was Vijayalakshmi Vadlapati. She entered the film industry as a side actress and was first noticed for her role as Silk in Tamil movie Vandichakkaram. Later the actress became a major s*x symbol and the most sought-after erotic actress in the 1980s.
She had acted in various movies of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. She was also known for her short temper and straightforwardness. She was also known for her doe-like eyes, golden complexion and physique. On 23 September 1996, Silk Smitha committed suicide and her body was found dead in her apartment in Chennai.
