It is known news that to date the maker of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo did not make any official announcement regarding the chief guest of ‘Musical Night’. According to the latest buzz, there will be no chief guest for this event. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that the RRR team including SS Rajamouli, Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR will attend the pre-release event of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Now reports are coming that Allu Arjun has said to his father Allu Aravind that either there should be Megastar Chiranjeevi as Chief Guest or there will be none.

On the other side, Megastar Chiranjeevi has agreed to attend the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu starrer and Sarileru Neekevvaru, which is going to be held on 5th January at LB Stadium.

Now we have to wait and see whether after attending the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna’ Sarileru Neekevvaru a day earlier, will Chiranjeevi will be able to give time to Allu Arjun for the ‘Musical Night’ of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Incidentally, Hiranyakashipu’s son Prahalad is an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu. The upcoming film will be helmed and bankrolled by Gunasekhar. The sources say that Gunasekhar has already started the work for his upcoming mythological drama Hiranyakashipu and a palace set is being erected in Ramanaidu Studios with all the real jewellery and chandeliers. Gunasekar is spending Rs 15 Cr for Rana Daggubati’s palace. The mythological court of Hiranyakashipu (Rana Daggubati) will be full of gold and jewels, and Gunasekhar is spending a huge amount to make the court more lavish. The film is set to go on to the floors very soon.

It is being heard that nearly 17 VFX studios will be working for the graphical content in Rana Daggubati starrer Hiranyakashipu. By playing his first mythological character, Baahubli star Rana Daggubati seems to push the envelope for villainery much further than anyone else.

Natasha Doshi said, “I was approached for a special dance number earlier too, but I rejected it fearing that I might be typecast. But I said yes for this song as it is a folksy number set in the Godavari region, a desi number showcasing the typical festive mood in a village.” Natasha Doshi further added, “What more, it’s Kalyanram!”

She added that she would be seen sporting half series and jigging in this special number. Natasha Doshi added, “ To shoot for this special number was not easy for me in soaring temperatures, which was challenging. she even shot for certain scenes of the song barefooted in the hot sand.”

A Malaysian film distribution company has moved the Madras High Court to stall the release of ‘Darbar’ starring Rajinikanth, which is gearing up for grand release on 9th January 2020 on the occasion of Pongal. The distribution company sought Rs 23 crore pending dues from Lyca Productions Pvt Ltd. According to the petition filed by M Baskar on behalf of Aloysius Pillai, Director, DMY Creation of Malaysia, the production house – Lyca Productions already has pending dues running to a total of Rs 23 cr for the previously released movies in the Malaysian region such as ‘2.0’ and ‘Vantha Rajavaathaan Varuven.’

A petition has been filed in the Madras High Court seeking a stay on the release of Darbar. The petition said that Lyca production has started negotiating with some others to award territorial rights for the upcoming film, ignoring the Malaysian company. Lyca should furnish security for pending dues before the release of the movie Darbar, the petition said.

The Malaysia based entertainment company DMY Creations has demanded repayment of Rs 12 Cr from Lyca Productions, which was taken by them at a rate of 30% pa for the making Shankar’ directorial venture, the sci-fi drama 2.0 in which Rajinikanth played the lead role. As the production house is yet to pay due, a petition has been filed against the film Darbar to ban the release.

Rajinikanth and Nayantara will be seen romancing on-screen after almost a decade. Their on-screen chemistry of them in the movie Chandramukhi was much talked about. The expectations are very high on Darbar where Rajinikanth is playing ACP Officer and Nayantara as Architect. The film Darbar also has Suniel Shetty, Nivetha Thomas, Prateik Babbar and Yogi Babu in the supporting roles. The film has the music by Anirudh Ravichander.

A Malaysian film distribution company has moved the Madras High Court to stall the release of ‘Darbar’ starring Rajinikanth, which is gearing up for grand release on 9th January 2020 on the occasion of Pongal. The distribution company sought Rs 23 crore pending dues from Lyca Productions Pvt Ltd. According to the petition filed by M Baskar on behalf of Aloysius Pillai, Director, DMY Creation of Malaysia, the production house – Lyca Productions already has pending dues running to a total of Rs 23 cr for the previously released movies in the Malaysian region such as ‘2.0’ and ‘Vantha Rajavaathaan Varuven.’
