South Indian Film Industry has got a nugget of talent in the form of Samantha Akkineni. Samantha has established herself as a top lead in both Tamil and Telugu industries. She so far delivered tremendous performances in various roles she has played and created a huge fan base for herself. She made her debut with Gautham Menon, Ye Maaya Chesave. For her performance in the super hit movie, she also raked in many awards for the best actress. She is known not only for her brilliant acting skills but also for her utter beauty. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Samanta Akkineni is planning to act in a biopic.
Though Samantha has been the part of Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture Mahanati, the biopic of South Indian legendary actress Savitri but in this film, Keerthy Suresh played the titular role and won both National Award and a Filmfare. The sources close to Samantha revealed that Rangasthalam beauty Samantha Akkineni wants to do a biopic in the lines of Mahanati, where she could unravel her acting potential by presenting the story of a true hero in real life on the silver screen.
Currently, Samantha is planning to act either in a sports biopic or a film that is based on some real-life activists. She is looking for a real-life story and she is also willing to bankroll it. Now we have to wait and see which story will reach Samantha Akkineni in order to realize her dream. Currently, she is busy in her web series The Family man 2.
Samantha was last seen in Oh! Baby which was directed by Nandini Reddy. It was the remake of a South Korean movie and has received a humongous response from the audience. The movie also featured Naga Shaurya, Lakshmi and Rajendra Prasad in crucial roles.
