Stylish Star Allu Arjun and DJ fame Pooja Hegde are coming together with an upcoming action and family drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which is gearing up for grand release on 12th January 2020 on the eve of Sankranthi. Yesterday the makers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo organized a musical concert event and on this occasion, Allu Arjun said, “My father Allu Aravind deserves Padma Sri award.”

Stylish Star Allu Arjun turned emotional on the dais and spoke about his grandfather and father Allu Aravind. When Allu Arjun started to spoke about his father, he’s got his eyes moistened in gratitude.

Sarrainodu star Allu Arjun said, “I thank my father Allu Aravind who launched me as a hero. I am nothing in front of my father. He has a highly misunderstood personality. Some detractors blame him crooked. If he had really been crooked, he could not have survived in the Telugu film industry for 45 years. My grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah Garu received Padma Sri award and my father also deserves the same award.”

Allu Arjun also showered praises for Megastar Chiranjeevi and said, “ I am a die-hard fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi.”

Allu Arjun concluded his speech by saying, “ I appeal the governments of Telugu states to ensure my father Allu Aravind is honored with Padma Sri award because he made an outstanding contribution towards cinema.”

Meanwhile, Stylish Star reiterated that he would remain to be a die-hard fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi until his last breath.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is directed by Trivikram Srinivas and is jointly bankrolled by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna under the banners of Geetha Arts and Haarika & Hassine Creations. The movie has the music by S Thaman. The film also has Nivetha Pethuraj, Jayaram, Tabu, Sushanth, Navdeep, Sunil, Murali Sharma, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Brahmaji, Samuthirakani, Sachin Khedekar and others in pivotal roles.
