The movie Jaanu is also doing a good pre-release business. According to the latest update, the overseas rights of Sharwanand and Samantha Akkineni starrer Jaanu have fetched Rs 2 Crores. Prime media have acquired the overseas rights of Jaanu, which is a good deal for Dil Raju.
Yesterday the makers of Jaanu unveiled the trailer of the film, which received a decent response by the Akkineni fans and the movie lovers. The movie Jaanu is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Jaanu is the remake of Tamil hit 96 in which Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Sethupathi essayed the lead roles. The young actor Sharwanand and Samantha are reprising the roles of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha who have done the original.
Gouri G Kishan and Varsha Bollamma, who were a part of Tamil movie 96, will be seen in the same roles in Sharwanand and Samantha starrer Jaanu. Govind Vasantha is the music composer, Mahendiran Jayaraju is the cinematographer.
