First Look Poster of Gopichand Seetimaarr: Tollywood macho star Gopichand and Sampath Nandi joined hands for sports backdrop action drama, which has been titled Seetimaarr. Today the makers of Gopichand starrer took to their twitter handle to unveil the first look poster of Sampath Nandi’ directorial venture Seetimaarr. Milky Siren Tamannah Bhatia is on the board to play the female lead.
Last year during the launch event of Seetimaarr, Gopichand said that he was very happy to work with Sampath Nandi for the second time and with Tamannah Bhatia for the first time. The role of Tamannah is very purposeful in the film.
The story of Seetimaarr is written in the backdrop of sports and Gopichand will be seen as the coach to the Andhra Pradesh female kabaddi team. Tamannah Bhatia will be seen in the role of a coach to the Telangana Kabaddi team.
Earlier in an interview, Tamannah Bhatia has said, “My role in this film is a tribute of sorts to coaches like Pullela Gopichand, Ramakant Achrekar, Guru Hanuman, Satpal Singh and the likes who have turned the things around for the Indian sports.”
It may be noted that Tamannah Bhatia has worked with Sampath Nandi in Bengal Tiger earlier and therefore shares a good rapport with him. The film, which is touted to be a complete action entertainer, will be produced by Chitturi Srinivas Rao under his banner.
Gopichand was last seen in a spy thriller Chanakya, which was a dud at the box office.
