South beauty Amala Paul’s father Paul Varghese breathed his last yesterday in Kerala and the family has released an official statement saying, “We regret to inform the demise of Mr. Paul Varghese, Father of Actress Amala Paul. Funeral Date 22.1.20 Cremation Time 3 pm to 5 pm Address St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church, Kuruppampadi.”Paul Varghese was 61-year-old. He had been suffering from the health-related ailment. He is survived by wife Annice Paul, children Amala Paul and Abhijith Paul.
Amala Paul was in Chennai for the trailer launch of her upcoming film ‘Adho Andha Paravai Pola.’ When she heard the news of her father’s sudden demise, she rushed to her home town. The sources say that Amala Paul’s father was strictly against his daughter pursuing a career in films but then later was forced to accept her decision.
The final rites of Amala Paul’s father Paul Varghese will take place today at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church, Kuruppampadi from 3 pm.
