According to the latest buzz in the film industry, when Mahesh Babu and Namrata approached Pooja Hegde for their production venture Major, she demanded huge remuneration which is giving shock to them.
Major is the production venture of Mahesh Babu and Namrata in which Adivi Sesh will play the lead role. The movie is being made under the banner of GMB Entertainments banner as it is a bilingual movie, will be made in Telugu and Hindi. So the makers want to rope Pooja Hegde.
The sources say that Pooja Hegde asked for a remuneration of Rs 2.5 Cr as opposed to her general quote of Rs 1.5 – 2 cr since this film is being made in two languages. So Mahesh Babu and Namrata dropped the idea to rope Kiara Advani. Now they are in the search of a better known Bollywood actress for the film.
Adivi Sesh starrer Major will be directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. Mahesh Babu’s production venture Major is a biopic based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Adivi Sesh will be seen essaying the role of NSG Commando, who rescued hostages during the 26/11 terror attack on the Taj Hotel in Mumbai and perished in his valorous mission.
On the other side, Pooja Hegde is waiting for the release of her upcoming drama Ala Vaikunthapurramloo in which she is sharing the screen space with Allu Arjun, directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
While the language is no longer a barrier as content winning over the movie lovers, many recent regional films have created wonders on Hindi box offices like Baahubali, KGF, 2.o, and Saaho.
