It is known news that the shoot of the Telugu movies have been halted due to coronavirus outbreak. Now it is being heard that the most awaited movies of this year- Prabhas starrer #Prabhas20 and Chiranjeevi starrer social message oriented movie Acharya may not be released for Sankranthi 2021. Both Prabha and Chiranjeevi are out of the Sankranthi race.
According to Koratala Siva, he has already wrapped up a 40 percent shoot of Acharya in which Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role. The rest of the shoot will be covered once the lockdown is lifted. The main problem for the delay of Acharya is that Mega Power Star Ram Charan is essaying a crucial role in the film, who is also part of SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture RRR. So, the director Koratala Siva needs to get the dates of Ram Charan to finish the shoot. The makers will also take at least one month to complete the post-production formalities. In this case, Acharya hitting the theatres in the month of January may not be possible.
On the other side, Prabhas starrer which has Pooja Hegde in the female lead role, is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The makers completed the major schedules before the lockdown, and some minor schedules are left to be completed. To complete the VFX works, the movie unit of #Prabhas20 needs more time. So everyone is expecting that #Prabhas20 will not arrive at the theaters in January on the occasion of Sankranthi.
