In the month of February, Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame took to his Twitter and made an official announcement regarding his next project with Young Rebel Star Prabhas, which will be bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Now the reports are coming that a top-class Bollywood heroine who has actually acted in the south but never looked back to doing a movie in the south, will play the female lead in Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture and she is none other than Deepika Padukone. After the debacle of action thriller Saaho, Prabhas has been extremely careful in choosing his upcoming projects.
The reports are coming that Deepika Padukone is said to be demanding Rs 15 Cr for a film. On the other side, Ashwini Dutt stated that they are not compromising in any aspect of his production venture #Prabhas21, starring Prabhas. Dutt is hinting that Prabhas starrer is a sci-fi movie that has a fantasy touch, and Deepika Padukone will be a great choice for such type of movie.
Now we have to wait and see if Tollywood is really willing to pay Rs 15 crores to a heroine. Nag Ashwin has already revealed that it’s an original script and not a remake or biopic.
