Foldable Glass in Smartphones: Inevitable Future or a Passing Fad?

Foldable phones have been out for a year or so but it was only this year, we actually saw the first foldable glass panel in such a phone. So, is this the future of smartphones or just a passing fad? We try to find the answer.
