The makers of action drama KGF: Chapter 1 starring rocking star Yash are ready to take legal action against a Telugu TV channel for illegally playing the movie. A Telugu Channel has allegedly telecast the Telugu version of the Prashanth Neel directorial venture KGF: Chapter 1.
The executive producer of Yash starrer KGF 1, Karthik Gowda took to his Twitter and said that they had proper evidence against the Telugu TV channel and would sue them.
The Telugu version of KGF : Chapter 1 is yet to have its TV premiere as the makers have not yet sold the digital rights. However, a Telugu TV channel recently telecasted Yash starrer without seeking permission from the producers.
The local TV channels usually show no respect for intellectual property rights, and illegally telecast the movies on their channels. Recently the owners of a few local channels in Tamil Nadu were arrested by the intellectual property rights enforcement, and their offices were seized.
KGF: Chapter 1 was a blockbuster movie, directed by Prashanth Neel and currently he is working for KGF: Chapter 2, which is slated to hit the theaters in the month of October this year. The shooting of KGF: Chapter 2 is currently on hold due to the lockdown imposed by the government.
