The young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni is one of the most happening stars in the Telugu Film Industry and enjoys a huge fan-base especially after the success of his latest film, Ismart Shankar, which is helmed by Puri Jagannadh. Recently he urged his fans to not indulge in any kind of celebration. Ismart Shankar star also said that he was in no mood to celebrate his 32nd birthday during the coronavirus lockdown. But the actor fans celebrated his birthday on 15th May on a massive scale on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter. Ram Pothineni’s fans tweeted the hashtag #HappyBirthdayRapo a record 646.3K times with a reach of over 200 million in just 24 hours and created a record amongst all other tiers 2 heroes.
The craze is such that the hashtag #HappyBirthdayRapo also trended worldwide for the 5 hours and for 18 hours in India. Ram Pothineni assured his fans that he would return double their love in the form of a huge blockbuster with his upcoming action-drama Red, which is a remake of Tamil film Thadam.
Meanwhile, the Dinchak song from Red was launched on the occasion of Ram Pothineni’s birthday which received a superb response by the movie lovers. Red was supposed to hit the screens on 9th April However, the film Red got postponed due to lockdown imposed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
