The sources close to Samantha Akkineni revealed that the actress gave her nod for a women-centric film. Sony Pictures India will bankroll this project and it will be helmed by a debutant. Samantha has also signed the project before the lockdown was imposed. An official announcement will be made regarding this woman centric movie of Majili girl very soon.
The upcoming untitled film will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil languages. The makers are planning to wrap up the entire shoot of Samantha starrer in a single schedule. The untitled female centric film will hit floors once the lockdown lifted. The actress is planning to complete the women-centric movie before moving on to her next projects.
On the otherside, Samantha Akkineni is also in talks for the biopic of Bengaluru Nagarathnamma which will be helmed by Singeetham Srinivas Rao.
