K Raghavendra Rao turned 78 yesterday. On the occasion of K Raghavendra Rao’s birthday, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu took to his Twitter and sent birthday wishes by remembering the old times when he worked with the director.
Superstar Mahesh Babu wishes director Raghavendra Rao who made his debut as a lead actor in the film industry. Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi fame Mahesh Babu said, “Happy birthday, mamayya Raghavendra Rao. I will always cherish the experience of working with an ingenious director like you. Wishing you the best of health and happiness always! ”
Surprisingly, Mahesh Babu did not work with Raghavendra Rao post-Rajakumarudu till now. Raghavendra Rao introduced Mahesh Babu as an actor in the movie Rajakumarudu which was released in the year 1999 in which Bollywood actress Preity Zinta played the female lead role. This film Rajakumarudu performed well at the box office and also bagged a Nandi Award for the best home viewing feature film.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in Anil Ravipudi’s directorial venture Sarileru Neekevvaru, in which he played the role of Major Ajay Krishna and romanced with Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna. The movie Sarileru Neekevvaru was released on the eve of Sankranthi this year which was a blockbuster at the box office.
