Recently Akhil Akkineni announced that he is set to collaborate with filmmaker Surender Reddy for his next feature which he would start filming soon. The upcoming untitled film of Akhil and Surender Reddy will be bankrolled by Ramabrahmam Sunkara’s AK Entertainments and Reddy’s Surrender2cinema. Surender Reddy who is popular for delivering blockbuster movies like Kick, Dhruva and Sya Raa Narasimha Reddy, is going to make a movie for Akhil.
The upcoming film will be made on the lavish budget of Rs 45 Cr. Now the reports are coming that Surender Reddy has roped Kanlakannan for the VFX of the film that has Akhil Akkineni in the lead role. Kanlakannan has worked for films like SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus Baahubali and now Baahubali Visual effect supervisor is all set to work on this film.
The story of Surender Reddy’ directorial venture is penned by Vakkantham Vamsi. Ajay Sunkara, Pathi Deepa Reddy are attached as co-producers while Kishore Garikapati will be the executive producer of Akhil starrer.
Meanwhile Akhil is sharing the screen space with Pooja Hegde in upcoming romantic film Most Eligible Bachelor in which he is essaying a NRI. Being helmed by Bhaskar, the film also stars Pooja Hegde, who will be seen as a stand-up comedian.
