With two remake projects currently in his kitty, Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to start the work on Vedalam remake later this year. It has been already confirmed that Meher Ramesh will direct this project- Vedalam remake. Anil Sunkara will bankroll the remake under the banner of AK Entertainments. The remake was initially planned to be made with Power Star Pawan Kalyan a couple of years ago.
Eventually, Gabbar Singh star Pawan Kalyan went on to star in the Telugu remake of Ajith’ Veeram. But now Sye Raa star Chiranjeevi will play the lead role in Vedalam remake. Young music composer and Mani Sharma’s son Mahati Swarasagar has been roped in Chiranjeevi starrer Vedalam remake to compose the music and the music sittings are happening currently. The makers of Vedalam remake are yet to officially announce the rest of the cast and crew.
Fidaa girl Sai Pallavi is in talks to play Chiranjeevi’s sister in this Vedalam remake. Love Story actress Sai Pallavi l is expected to be seen in the role originally essayed by Lakshmi Menon in the original film which also starred Ajith Kumar.
Meanwhile Megastar Chiranjeevi will be next seen in social message oriented movie Acharya, in which he’s rumored to be playing dual roles.
