Natural Star Nani’ 27th film Shyam Singha Roy, is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan, who made his directorial debut with the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Taaxiwala and it is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, the upcoming film is reported to be a science fiction thriller. The film Shyam Singha Roy is set to go on floors in the month of January next year.
The film Shyam Singha Rao has an old Calcutta backdrop and now the reports are coming that some heavy-duty sets will be built to recreate Calcutta from the early years. Initially, the makers planned to shoot the movie in Calcutta but due to coronavirus pandemic, the makers dropped the idea and now they want to shoot it in the sets.
So, due to this, the budget for Nani starrer Shyam Singha Rao has also increased. But the filmmakers are not shying away and they are ready to spend money as they are confident on the work of the director and story of the film.
Nani and Rahul Sankrityan’ film Shyam Singha Roy will have three female leads and the makers have already roped in Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi as one of the leads. Shyam Singha Roy will mark the duo’s second film together after Sriram Venu’ family entertainer, Middle Class Abbayi.
