Samantha Akkineni, the versatile actress of South Film Industry, has teamed up with filmmaker Ashwin Saravanan of ‘Game Over’ fame for a yet-untitled Tamil horror thriller. According to the latest buzz, the upcoming film of Samantha is more than just a horror flick. The latest buzz is that Samantha Akkineni is essaying the role of a mute girl in the movie. This is the first time that Samantha is going to play the role that has physical disabilities. The sources say that the upcoming thriller drama will portray Oh Baby girl Samantha in never before seen avatar.
To be bankrolled by Sony Entertainment, the upcoming film will mark the maiden collaboration of Ashwin Saravanan, best known for helming Game Over, Maya, and Samantha. The movie also stars Prasanna in a key role.
Meanwhile, Majili girl Samantha is looking forward to the release of the second season of The Family Man, which would mark her debut in Bollywood. The shooting will start in Dehradun soon and an official announcement regarding the remaining cast and crew will be made. Reportedly, the upcoming untitled will be a milestone in everyone’s career.
Apart from this horror thriller movie, Samantha has also signed Vignesh Shivan’ directorial venture Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which has Vijay Sethupathi and lady superstar Nayantara in the lead roles.
