Recently the young Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni announced that he is all set to collaborate with filmmaker Surender Reddy for his next feature. Surender Reddy is popular for directing few big budget projects such as Kick, Dhruva and his previous offering was Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which Megastar Chiranjeevi played the lead role. Sarileru Neekevvaru producer Anil Sunkara is producing this upcoming untitled film, which is touted to be a stylish thriller.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that shoot of this film will be started from the month of November. The sources close to the makers revealed that Akhil Akkineni and Surender Reddy’ film is going to be made with a whopping of Rs 40 crores. However, an official announcement regarding the budge of Akhil’ film is awaited.
The upcoming untitled thriller drama will mark Akhil Akkineni’ fifth film since his debut in the year 2015, and it will be the director Surender Reddy and the actor’s first collaboration.
The story of Surender Reddy and Akhil Akkineni’ film is penned by Vakkantham Vamsi. Kishore Garikapati will be the executive producer on the project whereas Pathi Deepa Reddy and Ajay Sunkara are the co producers. Meanwhile Akhil Akkineni is currently working with DJ fame Pooja Hegde in a romantic drama Most Eligible Bachelor.
