Akshara Haasan, the daughter of versatile actor Kamal Haasan and Sarika, debuted in the film industry with the movie Shamitabh in 2015 and has since then, done a few movies such as Thala Ajith starrer ‘Vivegam’ and Vikram’ ‘Kadaram Kondaan’. According to the latest update, Akshara Haasan will be seen in a feature film which has a female centric theme, that is written and helmed by the Raja Ramamurthy, who earlier shot to fame for his web series ‘America Mappillai’.
Now the reports are coming that Veteran Singer Usha Uthup will also be part of Akshara Haasan’ upcoming film. Usha Uthup will be seen playing a carnatic singer and Akshara Haasan’ grand mother in this film, which is bankrolled by Trend Loud, who have produced more than 15 web series for leading OTT platforms. The first look of this upcoming untitled film will be out on 14th September.
In 2010, the singer Usha Uthup acted in Tamil movie Manmadhan Ambu, in which she played Madhavan’s mother, which also starred Kamal Haasan, Trisha Krisdhnan and Sangeetha.
The story of this untitled movie revolves around a girl who is from a conservative family and is in that awkward stage between being a curious teenager and a smart woman.
