The creative and talented film maker is currently working on a love anthology for a leading OTT platform. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the anthology consists of 9 different short love stories, which are penned by Sukumar himself.
The reports are also coming that Sukumar is going to work with his former Assistant Directors turned directors Palnati Surya Pratap (Kumari 21F) and Buchi Babu Sana (Uppena) to helm a couple of love stories. Very soon the official announcement will be made regarding Sukumar’ short love stories with Kumari 21F, Uppena’ helmers.
Sukumar made his directorial debut with the movie Arya in 2004, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu and Nandi Award for Best Screenplay Writer. His popular movies are Jagadam , Arya 2, 100% Love, 1: Nenokkadine, Nannaku Prematho and village based drama Rangasthalam. Sukumar is popular for his multi layered screenplays which earned him the reputation of being an intelligent screenwriter in Telugu film Industry.
Meanwhile Sukumar is currently busy with the pre-production work for his upcoming much hyped action drama, Pushpa, in which StylishS tar Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are playing the lead roles. In this film Pushpa, which is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, Allu Arjun will essay a lorry driver whereas Rashmika as Village belle.
