The veteran director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao will play the role of a mentor in the yet-untitled film starring Prabhas and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. Filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is the latest addition to the upcoming yet-untitled film which will be directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame and will be produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, which completes fifty years in the film industry.
Tentatively known as Prabhas 21, the big budget film marks Prabhas’ first association with director Nag Ashwin, whose movie Mahanati won multiple National Awards. Meanwhile, the director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao recently tested positive for Coronavirus and is on the road to recovery. The filmmaker, who started out as an assistant on the movie Mayabazar, has made successful movies such as Apoorva Sagodharargal, Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Mayuri and Aditya 369.
Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is the director who made Aditya 369 that dealt with the theme of time machine. In pat, the director Nag Ashwin threw ideas to Srinivasa Rao to make a sequel to ‘Aditya 369’. Now the sources say that Mahanati helmer Nag Ashwin must have written a script for this Prabhas starrer on similar lines- Time Machine.
Recently, speculations went rife that popular actor Arvind Swami is in consideration for a keyl role in Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer.
