Kollywood actor Vishal is now coming up with an action drama Chakra, in which he will be seen playing the role of a Army officer. The shoot of Chakra has been stalled due to the coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown. Now the reports are coming that the makers of Chakra have decided to release Vishal starrer on OTT platform on the occasion of Diwali.
A few weeks back, it was heard that Vishal starrer film Chakra is going to skip its theatrical release and go for a direct OTT release on OTT platform Zee5. Now, it is being heard that ZEE5 is planning to stream the film Chakra during the Diwali festival season. Chakra is an intense spy thriller, which is helmed by MS Anandan Balasubramaniam. U Turn fame Shraddha Srinath is on the board to play the female lead role.
The makers have already released the trailer of Chakra on 27th June that indicates that Chakra is a cyber crime thriller movie that focusses on a mass robbery that happens in Chennai on Independence Day.
Shraddha Srinath is playing a cop, who is investigating the robbery. On 15th August, 49 houses are robbed by hackers and they steal the Ashoka Chakra medal at the house of Vishal.
