Richa Langella Gangopadhyay made her film debut with the Telugu political drama film Leader, which was released in 2010 and later worked on several commercially successful Telugu films such as Nagavalli, Mirapakaay, Sarocharu and Mirchi. Richa Langella Gangopadhyay made her debut in Tamil film industry with the movie Mayakkam Enna which was released on 25th November 2011.
Yesterday as the movie Mayakkam Enna completed 9 years, the actress Richa Langella Gangopadhyay took to her Twitter and shared the story of how her passion to pursue an MBA pushed her to quit the film industry.
Mirchi girl Richa Langella Gangopadhyay said, “Wow, I can’t believe it’s already been #9YearsOfMayakkamEnna . I took a page out of this story in the real life, by leaving the reel life to pursue other passions and change my career track altogether! No regrets. In fact, no regrets about anything in life so far.”
Sarocharu actress Richa Langella Gangopadhyay also said, “You always have choices in life. Take risks. Be open. Your decisions are not set in stone, your dreams and goals will keep evolving as you do. 34 years old Richa Gangopadhyay has very different interests and lifestyle preferences than 24 years old Richa. And I love my life now.”
