Popular Kollywood actor and dubbing artist Arun Alexander passed away due to a cardiac arrest. He breathed his last in Chennai last night. He was just 48 and his sudden demise has left movie lovers and his colleagues, including Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The director Lokesh Kanagaraj took to Twitter to share the information of Arun Alexander’ death as he said “Did not expect you will leave us this soon. I couldn’t control my tears. You will be irreplaceable and you will always live in my heart.”

Arun Alexander has been the part of few movies including Kolamavu Kokila, Kaithi and Bigil amongst others. His previous offering was Karthi and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s blockbuster action  movie Kaithi.  He will be next seen playing a crucial role in  Vijay and Lokesh’s big budget and much hyped movie Master, which is gearing up for grand release on the occasion of pongal.

Apart from being an actor, Arun Alexander also lent his voice for the Tamil version of the Hollywood biggies like The Pursuit of Happyness, Fast and Furious 5, Furious 7, Thor 1 and 2, Aquaman,  and Sherlock Holmes etc.
