Power Star Pawan Kalyan‘ upcoming untitled film PSPK27 with director Krish of Gauthamiputra Satakarni fame has been the talk of the town since its inception. The makers have already kick started the shoot in Hyderabad and according to latest reports, iSmart Shankar fame Nidhhi Agerwal has been roped in to play the female lead role in Gabbar Singh fame Pawan Kalyan starrer. Pawan Kalyan will play the role of a warrior in the upcoming period film  PSPK 27, which  has music scored by MM Keeravani. Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that  the upcoming film will have Virupaksha as the title. But now the reports are coming that the makers of Pawan Kalyan and Krish’ film are keen to have Veeramallu as the title.

However, it is being said that Veeramallu is yet to get a nod from Power Star  Pawan Kalyan to go as the title for the film. Veeramallu will be tentatively titled for this drama and very soon the final title will be revealed by the makers officially.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan will be next seen in Venu Sriram’ directorial venture Vakeel Saab. The much hyped movie is the Telugu remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer  Bollywood film, Pink.

Last year in the month of April, during the media interaction, SS Rajamouli revealed that he would make a movie for Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in coming days. Bankrolled by KL Narayana, the film will go on the floors in 2022 after SS Rajamouli completes ‘RRR’.

Incidentally,  Maharshi star Mahesh Babu had put out a tweet a decade ago that he would  be teaming up with Rajamouli. However, the collaboration did not happen for various reasons. The director  SS Rajamouli went on to make Baahubali 1 and 2, both films turning out to be massive hits.

Currently Mahesh Babu is working for Sarkaru Vaari Paata, directed by Geetha Govindam helmer Parasuram. The film, starring  National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh as the leading lady,  The film revolves around bank frauds and  it will be released on the occasion of Sankranthi 2022.

Rajamouli is currently working for RRR – Ranam Rudram Rowthiram  starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan,  Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran and Ajay Devgn, which will be released on 13th October . Apparently, Mahesh Babu  has decided to not  take up any other  movie after the release of his upcoming film  Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Instead, Mahesh Babu straight away heads to the sets of Rajamouli’ film in 2022.

Non-bailable warrant against director Shankar

Metropolitan Magistrate Court-II, Egmore, has issued a non-bailable warrant against  the creative and talented film maker Shankar for his failure before the court for over 10 years in connection with a case registered against him for copying a short story of writer Arur Tamilnadan and making the movie Endhiran,  in which Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, and Aishwarya Rai played the lead roles.

Arur Tamilnandan – a short story writer  had alleged that  the director Shankar had used his story for his blockbuster  movie ‘Enthiran’.

In the year  2010, the writer Arur Tamilnandan filed a case in the Madras High Court alleging copyright violation of his story Jugiba which was first published in a Tamil magazine named Iniya Udayam in April 1996  and re-published as a novel Dhik Dhik Dheepika in  the year 2007. Arur Tamilnandan alleged that Enthiran produced by Kalanithi Maran was a copy of his work and added that such an offence was punishable under Section 420 of IPC and other sections of the Copyright Act.

After the release of science fiction movie Endhiran under the direction Shankar in 2010, it was found that the story of the movie was copied from Jiguba, Arur Tamilnandan alleged.

The Supreme Court dismissed a petition of  film maker Shankar challenging the order of the Madras High Court in connection with the copyright violation case against him, last year.

One of the clashes that has created a lot of buzz, and rift, is that between SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR and Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan.
