The young actor Adivi Sesh is currently working for upcoming movie Major based on the life of 2008 Mumbai terror attack martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, which is on the verge of completion. Yesterday the makers of Major released a new poster that featured Adivi Sesh who was seen holding a sniper rifle in a commando uniform. By sharing this poster, the makers officially confirmed that Major will be released on 2nd July 2021. Initially the makers wanted to release the film during the summer but due to the heavy rush in summer the makers dropped the idea. Adivi Sesh is playing the titular role in the Sashi Kiran directed biopic.
Adivi Sesh starrer Major also has Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma in the crucial roles and the movie is being bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India in association with GMB Entertainment.
Mahesh Babu’ production venture Major starring Adivi Sesh is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who rescued the hostages and lost his life in this mission during the tragic 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai city. Major is a bilingual drama which will be released in Hindi and Telugu.
Adivi Sesh was last seen playing the lead role in Evaru which was released in 2019.
