Telugu actress and Bharatiya Janatha Party- BJP activist Madhavi Latha met Cyberabad police commissioner VC Sajjanar on Thursday and lodged a complaint claiming that some unknown persons have been defaming her by uploading objectionable/abusive comments against her on the social media.
She complained to Cyberabad police about those making abusive and vulgar comments about her on social media.
She met VC Sajjanar and submitted a complaint against some groups and individuals trolling her and posting objectionable content.
The actress Madhavi Latha also interacted with the media and said that some persons have been deliberately sending targeted messages to her, which are assassinating her character. The actress alleged that ever since she started speaking against the vandalisation of temples in AP and other issues, few people started to abuse her and they are posting abusive comments on the social media. According to Madhavi Latha, her morphed photographs were uploaded on various social media platforms and after which her normal life has been disrupted for. In her complaint, the BJP leader also alleged that some people were uploading derogatory video content against her on YouTube.
Madhavi Latha also requested the police department to take strict action against those responsible for such type of harassment.
