We have already reported that Prabhas has started the shoot of upcoming film Adipurush which is being helmed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame and it also has Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan who is playing Ravana. Now according to the latest update, a level 2 fire has broken out on the sets of Prabhas’ Adipurush at around 4 pm. Around 50-60 people were present on the sets when the fire accident took place at Film City in Goregaon. Fortunately, Baahubali and Mirchi fame Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan were not a part of the shoot.
The cause of the fire accident is speculated to be a short circuit on the set. And the entire chroma set up went into ashes .The sources say that the eight fire engines, five jumbo tankers, one water tanker, and a JCB have been sent by the Mumbai Fire Brigade to control the fire on the sets of Adipurush. No casualties have been reported. Om Raut and the entire team of Adipurush are safe.
Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush is bankrolled by Krishan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair. The much hyped big budget film will be released in multiple languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Adipurush is Om Raut’s second directorial after Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
