Once again the controversial actress Sri Reddy is in the news headlines. The actress Sri Reddy officially confirmed that she is going to play the role of Silk Smitha in a film based on the biography of the famous glamorous actress Silk Smitha. It is worth mentioning that Bollywood actress Vidya Balan won the National Award for Best Actress for the film Dirty Pictures, which was on the line of Silk Smitha.
It is also worth noting that several films based on Silk Smitha’s biography have already been released in various languages , including Tamil. Now Sri Reddy is all set to play the role of Silk Smitha on the big screen.
The upcoming bilingual- Telugu and Tamil film will be helmed by Madhu. Sri Reddy took to her microblogging page and posted a video, she said, “The upcoming biopic has several big names in it, which I will reveal in a later video. I am sharing this news with you because I need your blessings and support to take this up. I wish the film makes it to theatres without any hassles.”
Earlier it was heard that the anchor turned Anasuya Bharadwaj will play the role of Silk Smitha. But now it has officially confirmed that Sri Reddy will make her screen presence in this role.
