Now according to the latest update, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play the main lead role in PK sequel. This news is confirmed by the producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Recently during the media interaction, Vidhu Vinod Chopra revealed that his team is planning to make the sequel of the super-hit film PK, but it will take some time as the writer, Abhijat Joshi has still not penned the story for the sequel.
The makers of PK had shown Ranbir Kapoor’s character landing on the planet towards the end of the movie. So now, Ranbir Kapoor will be taking the story forward.
Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer PK broke box office records when it released in the year 2014. It also had Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma and Sushanth Singh Rajput in the crucial roles. PK showed Aamir Khan as an alien who lands on Earth and loses the device that helps him communicate with his spaceship.
On the otherside, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing a lead role in fantasy drama Brahmastra.
