Uppena Box Office Collections: Uppena is a romantic drama which has Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in the lead role. The film helmed by Bucchi Babu Sana, is based on the honor killing. The movie Uppena which also has Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, was released on 12th February and won the hearts of the movie lovers. The performance of lead actor and the presence of Vijay Sethupathi are highlighted in this film. According to the traders report, the movie Uppena earned Rs 9.17 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on its opening day.

No other Telugu film starring a debut hero had earned more share than Uppena and Viashnav Tej has set an all time record with this romantic entertainer. The record was previously held by Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil- The Power of Jua which had collected Rs 7.6 Cr on its opening day.
