Malayalam star Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 2 is winning the hearts of the movie lovers. The movie ‘Drishyam 2’, helmed by Jeethu Joseph, opted for a direct release on a popular OTT platform and now according to the latest update, Venkatesh Daggubati has given his green signal for the remake of Drishyam 2. The sources say that Venkatesh is ready to begin the shoot for the movie.
The film Drishyam 2 is the sequel to their successful earlier collaboration Dirshyam which was released in 2013.
Recently the producer of ‘Drishyam 2’ and the director Jeethu Joseph met Venky Mama star and Suresh Babu in Hyderabad and finalized the Telugu remake. The reports are coming that the makers and their team are also scouting locations in Telangana for the shooting of Drushyam 2. The makers are planning to start the shoot from the month of March. Very soon the official announcement regarding the remake of Drushyam 2 will be made.
In the year 2014, Venkatesh played the lead role in Drushyam, the remake of Drishyam. Meena and Ester Anil reprised their roles from the original, whereas the actress Sripriya replaced Jeetu Joseph as the director.
Currently Venkatesh is waiting for the release of Naarappa and is working with Anil Ravipudi for the movie F
