Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, a former Miss India, met on the sets of the Vamsi in 2005 and they got married the same year. Other than Sitara, the couple – Mahesh and Namrata are also parents to a son named Gautham.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be seen playing the role of a money lender in an upcoming big budget film Sarkaru Vaari Paata, under the direction of Parasuram. The film based on back scam has Keerthy Suresh of Mahanati, Rang De and Penguin fame in the female lead role.
