According to Radhika Apte, OTT platform is a medium that can thrive under freedom of expression.
Recently during the media interaction, when Radhika Apte was asked to comment on the intervention of the authorities in the OTT space, to which she replied, “I hope we understand that there has to be freedom of expression and people need to be far more tolerant about the fact that there will be disagreement in the life, that is the way of life. I find it’s terrifying and sad that this is where we are headed.”
Lust Story lady added, “OTT platform has given a lot of opportunities and employment. The OTT platform is too new. What OTT platform has offered is viewership and it’s brilliant. We will have to wait and see how things pan out in the next 4-5 years, whether it makes the actors internationally viable, we mix up the actors or the projects, or more collaborations. The things don’t happen overnight.”
