If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, the actor and director Rahul Ravindran has been roped in an upcoming Telugu film Shyam Singha Roy in which Natural star Nani and Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi are playing the lead roles. It is being heard that Rahul Ravindran will be seen playing a crucial role in Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer Shyam Sinha Roy which also has Uppena girl Krithi Shetty in the female lead role.
In a chat on Twitter, Rahul Ravindran revealed that he is playing a supporting role in Shyam Singha Roy, which is being helmed by Rahul Sankrityan. Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer is set in the backdrop of Kolkata.
The movie Shyam Singha Roy is bankrolled by Venkat Boyanapalli and it has the music by Mickey J Meyor. The film has the cinematography by Sanu John Varghese and editing by Naveen Nooli.
It is known news that Rahul Ravindram made his debut in Telugu with Andhala Rakshasi, and later he made his directorial debut with Chi La Sow. However, his next film, Manmadhudu 2 starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet Singh, was a disaster at the box office. On the work front, Rahul Ravindran will also be seen in a Tamil remake of a Malayalam film.
