It is known news that Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is working with Deva Katta for a social drama titled Republic. Today morning the makers of Republic took to Twitter handle to share the first look poster of Sai Dharam Tej.

Sai Dharam Tej is playing the role of Abhi in this film.   The first look poster of Sai Dharam Tej from republic comes with the caption: For the last 74 years, we’ve been living in an illusion that there is a government; but we still don’t know what that government is.

 The upcoming film Republic primarily focuses on the three pillars of democracy,  legislative, executive and judiciary,  and the film is being touted as a social drama. The sources say that Sai Dharam Tej is playing the role  of an IAS officer in the film.  Earlier during a media interaction, Sai Dharam Tej had said “I was actually looking for a challenging role to act in a film and heard this script from the  Deva Katta.

I have an intense role in Republic, wherein I will be required to mould myself into a young bureaucrat. This is something that I have never done in the film industry before so I planned to observe and monitor few young IAS officers and other bureaucrats to understand the body language required to play this role.”
