It is known news that Baahubali: Before The Beginning, the Netflix series, is a prequel to the blockbuster Baahubali franchise, which was helmed by SS Rajamouli and is in making for the past few years. Last year in the month of December, we informed that Netflix’s series Baahubali: Before The Beginning has been put on the backburner.
It was heard that OTT giant wasn’t happy with the outcome. The was based on Anand Neelakanta’s novel, The Rise of Sivagami and revolved around a fictional character Sivagami, who first featured in SS Rajamouli‘ historic and war drama Baahubali. Baahubali: Before The Beginning was shot with the actress Mrunal Thakur as young Sivagami. The series series Baahubali: Before The Beginning will be remade with a new team on board. Now, according to the latest update, Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi has been roped in series Baahubali: Before The Beginning to play the role of Shivagami.
Mrunal Thakur doesn’t have dates to reshoot the entire series and hence Wamiqa Gabbi, who is known for acting in the movies, Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal and others has been roped in.
The sources close to the makers revealed that they have already chalked out a plan and the series Baahubali: Before The Beginning will be in place by the year end.
