Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth‘s birthday is no less than a festival. On the occasion, the Rajini Makkal Mandram said the Rajinikanth Foundation would provide training to 100 students from poor and marginalized sections for group exams being conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Rajinikanth celebrates his 71st birthday today. One such wish arrived from Venkatesh Daggubati. Venky mama fame Venkatesh Daggubati took to his twitter and said: Wishing Superstar Rajinikanth garu a very happy birthday ! May you continue to inspire people and hope you have a prosperous year ahead.
It is known that at 67th National Film Awards, Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award – India’s highest film honor for his stupendous contribution to Indian cinema, while his son-in-law Dhanush won the Best Actor Award for his performance in action and revenge drama Asuran.
Rajinikanth is known for his power-packed performances and living iconic characters on the big screen. He started his career with a supporting role in the 1975 film Apoorva Raagangal. He will soon start working on his 169th film, which will be helmed by Desingh Periyasamy.
Rajinikanth was last seen playing the lead role in rural drama Annaatthe which had Nayanthara in the female lead role and Keerthy Suresh in the role of Superstar Sister.
