An inspiring story of Mother and Daughter in the service of Ghazals

Mother and Daughter Indira and Himaja have become a synonym for inspiration with the service they have been contributing to the Ghazals. While Indira provides the lyrics for these Ghazals, it is Himaja who mesmerizes one and all with her soulful voice.

Actually, Ghazals in Telangana are not of much importance, but the work this Mother and Daughter are doing changed the whole scenario.

They have been getting critical acclaim as well. Born in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Indira Bhairi comes from a progressive family. Though Indira has seven siblings, all of them are well educated. Indira who has received multiple awards and appreciations in the teaching profession is now working as a Head Master.

Coming to her daughter Himaja, she is following in the footsteps of her mother. She started singing Ghazals written by her mother. Once, Legendary poet C. Narayana Reddy hearing her singing mother’s Ghazals has appreciated by saying “you are singing so well. Keep up the good work.” Since then, there is no looking back for Himaja.
